A Note on Menorrhagia and Other Gynecological Conditions
They call it pelvic inflammatory disease, and almost one million women every year become infertile due to this complex sexually transmitted disease. Yet not all health issues that women face are necessarily related to their sex lives, but can arise due to age among other issues that can only be justified by the hormonal and body changes that a woman has to deal with throughout her life.
Take for example the condition of Menorrhagia, which is an abnormally heavy and extended period. Some of the common symptoms might be heavy bleeding and pain apart from complications such as abnormal blood clotting and disorders related to the lining of the uterus.
While the pain is difficult to deal with, the emotional impact it has on a woman can be just as harsh, and so it is advisable that she consult with an experienced gynecologist as soon as possible because the discomfort and pain can easily be prevented with the appropriate treatment.
Another condition is that of bladder prolapse, which occurs when the muscles that support the vagina weaken, and as a result of this, they drop into the vaginal canal from their original position. Other reasons for this to occur are due to events related to childbirth, a hysterectomy, or even menopause.
Now when the organ drops into the vaginal canal (also known as cystocele in the case of malfunctioning bladder), the only way to deal with this condition is to undergo surgery or by the use of a TOT sling. This means that you have to consult a gynecologist as soon as possible to not only diagnose, but to remedy the condition.
